Carlee Hite is a student from Bardstown, Kentucky, who loves to learn new things. Carlee loves reading and telling stories, which is the main reason that she chose to pursue a triple major in journalism, visual journalism and environmental, sustainability and geographic studies. She believes in the power that stories hold.

Carlee’s dedication to education led to her graduating from high school with her Associate in Arts from Elizabethtown Community and Technical College. So even though she’s a sophomore at WKU, she’s a senior by credit. She’s not quite sure how she feels about that yet. She is really enjoying being in college, getting to learn new things and meeting new people.

Carlee’s goal through her triple majors is to explore how people interact with the world around them. Her curiosity guided her to this path, and she is excited to see where the journey leads.

When she’s not behind a camera or a computer screen, Carlee can most likely be found reading books, hanging out with friends, volunteering at the Humane Society, or spending time with her family.
